Info item content not comparable to Symbian ---------------------------------------------------------- ISSUE: The info item content provided by PhoNetInfo for Windows 10 Mobile is not fully comparable to the ones provided by PhoNetInfo for Symbian. Useful information, such as e.g. network signal strength and cell ID, is missing. AFFECTED DEVICES: All Windows 10 Mobile devices. SOLUTION: The publicly available programming interfaces (API) of Windows 10 Mobile do not allow to retrieve information such as e.g. network signal strength and cell ID. Therefore, the info item content provided by PhoNetInfo for Symbian cannot be fully compared to the one provided by PhoNetInfo for Windows 10 Mobile. TECHNICAL BACKGROUND: Programming interface (API) restrictions 3.2. Device Total Mass Storage doesn't show exact total ---------------------------------------------------------- ISSUE: The item "Device Total Mass Storage" doesn't reflect the same value as shown in the built in device membery overview. AFFECTED DEVICES: All Windows 10 Mobile devices. SOLUTION: Device Total Mass Storage reflects the total number of bytes available to the user who is associated with the calling thread. This means that memory reserved for the system is not taken into account by the Device Total Mass Storage item. TECHNICAL BACKGROUND: Functional programming restriction ('sandbox') 3.3. Attachment missing when exporting data by e-mail ---------------------------------------------------------- ISSUE: When exporting data from any tab by e-mail, the attachment is missing. AFFECTED DEVICES: All Windows 10 Mobile devices. SOLUTION: This is a know issue. Attachments will appear only in the Windows Mail app. If users have any other mail program configured as their default mail program (e.g. Microsoft Outlook), the compose window will appear without the attachment. In the Windows 10 settings (under System | Default apps) choose Mail as default app for sending e-mails. For additional information, please refer to the following Microsoft documentation: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/uwp/contacts-and-calendar/sending-email TECHNICAL BACKGROUND: Functional programming restriction ('sandbox') ================================================================================ 4.
